PROJECTS IN HAITI

In Haiti we started by simply sending IT equipment to computerize schools and went on to create a Learning Centre. Here is a representative sample of our work. 
  • Beneficiaries: students of the Saint-François d'Assise school (ISFAGG) in Grand-Goave

  • Region : Grand-Goave

  • Type of intervention: Sending IT materials, installation, training

  • Duration: 2010-2011

 

Projet description: Introduce students of the Saint-François d'Assise school of Grand-Goave to computers and improve the quality of learning and teaching. Teacher training was also carried out by Micro Recyc.

  • Type of intervention: refurbishing and sending IT material, providing training, supervision and support for the implementation of the Centre. Creation of a website and social media

 

Description of the projet : It has  two goals:
1) Shares and transfers knowledge in the field of agriculture, crafts and everything that facilitates the improvement of everyday life. 2) Enhances the capacity of people and the community in all that they do. This not only includes agriculture and crafts but also local culture and social initiatives.

IN ST MARC

This project was done thanks to the support of the International Organisation of the Francophonie’s Inforoutes program.

  • Beneficiaries: students of the James Stine school in the city of St. Marc

  • Region: the St. Marc quarter, Artibonite area

  • Type of intervention : Sending IT material, installation and training

  • Duration: 2012-2013

 

Projet description : Introduce more than 500 students of James Stine school to information technology tools to improve the quality of learning, and teaching. The teacher training was also done by Micro Recyc. As well, the school library and Teacher’s Room were computerized.
